Pet Boarding at Four Paws Inn

Your pet's comfort and well-being are our top priorities.

Our dedicated staff uses their knowledge of animal care to keep your pet healthy and happy during their stay.

We offer separate boarding facilities for cats and dogs so our feline friends can have a little peace and quiet during their stay.

We also provide fresh bedding daily, raised feeders upon request to aid in digestion, and easily digested and nutritious food and treats during your dog’s stay at no additional charge. Over the holidays play times & baths may be limited to staffing.

Boarding Facilities

We take great pride in maintaining a clean and comfortable facility for your pet. Our boarding area is temperature-controlled and spacious, and your pet receives frequent care and attention from our friendly, compassionate staff. Should any medical problems arise during your pet’s stay, we will contact you right away.

Canine Boarding:

Four Paws Inn offers 16 suites and 15 laminate cages for dogs. Regular suites are approximately 30 square feet in size, and large suites are approximately 54 square feet in size, both featuring Plexiglass doors.  

• Small Kennel: Can accommodate 1 dog up to 15 lbs.
• Large Kennel: Can accommodate 1 dog up to 40 lbs. or 2 dogs up to 15 lbs. each (dogs must be < 24 inches tall)
• Suite: Can accommodate 1 dog up to 90 lbs, 2 dogs up to 40 lbs each, or 3 dogs up to 15 lbs each
• Large Suite: Can accommodate any size single dog, 2 dogs up to 90 lbs each, 3 dogs up to 40 lbs each, or 4 dogs up to 15 lbs each

Laminate cages are available if all suites are reserved, or for smaller dogs that do not require the space of a suite. These cages are warm and comfortable and the dogs staying in them will enjoy all the playtime and activity given to our suite guests.

For those pups who enjoy the outdoors, there are two enclosed outside areas and one can be used for off the leash playtimes where they can bask in the sun, lounge in the shade, or run through the sprinklers. We also offer reggae hour and one session of quiet time to help keep your pet calm and comfortable. 

Unlike many boarding facilities that close around 6 PM, our dedicated staff stays later to ensure your pet gets a final evening bathroom break between 7:00–8:00 PM. This means your dog isn’t left waiting over 12 hours between outings — giving them more comfort, and you more peace of mind.

Feline Boarding:

Four Paws Inn offers 50 laminate condos, available for those purrfect cats that come for a stay with us.

• Single Condo: Can accommodate 1 cat
• Corner Condo: Can accommodate 1 cat
• Double Condo: Can accommodate 1 or 2 cats

Single condos are approximately 5 square feet and double condos are approximately 10 square feet in size, both featuring sleeping ledges. We do NOT guarantee time to roam free, though we strive for it. We recommended adding a play time with a kennel staff member if they want the cats to get out. Cats may roam free in the enclosed cat room, people-watch out of the large picture window or nap in their condo while listening to the gentle rolling ocean surf or birds chirping in the wilderness.

Exotic Boarding:

Four Paws Inn offers boarding for exotic pets such as birds, rabbits, and hamsters.

• Must bring own cage, food, and any other necessary items required for their daily care.

Daycare Services:

We offer weekday daycare for dogs, cats, and exotic pets, providing a safe, stimulating environment while you're away. Whether your pet is social or prefers their own space, we tailor the experience to suit their needs.

Available Monday–Friday

Drop-off and pick-up are welcome anytime during office hours.

• A comfortable, secure space — kennel, private suite, or cat condo 
  (Exotics still bring their own cage and food, any other necessary items required for the daily care)

• Individual 15-minute playtime with our staff
   (dogs enjoy outdoor time in our secure play yard)
  
• A midday meal if you'd like us to feed lunch
  
• Bathroom breaks and walks for dogs, just like our boarding guests

Boarding Requirements

All boarding guests must be up-to-date on vaccinations. If your pet requires any vaccinations before staying with us, we are happy to provide them for an additional fee.

We require dogs to be up-to-date on:

• Canine Distemper/Parvovirus
• Rabies vaccine
• Bordetella (Kennel Cough) 

We require cats to be up-to-date on:

• Feline Distemper
• Rabies vaccine

Reservations are preferred, especially during holidays, but we can generally accommodate last-minute or emergency boarding needs. To ensure availability, please schedule your pet's stay ahead of time.

Our boarding facility is open for drop-off and pick-up whenever the office is open.
